Golf Genius, a global leader in golf technology, has announced a 43% increase in UK & Ireland client adoption of its integrated club management solution with BRS Core since 2023, with 660,000 rounds powered in the last 12 months.
In 2020, the two companies formed a strategic partnership to provide golf clubs with a connected ecosystem for membership, tee sheet and competitions that drives a positive digital experience for golfers. The figures across the UK&I demonstrate growth in acceptance and usage of this joint product. The figures show:
43% increase in the number of clients using the BRS Core & Golf Genius solution between 2023 and the end of September 2026;
15,400 golf events powered by the solution in the 12 months to 30 September 2026, up 23% on 2023;
660,000 rounds of golf powered by the solution in the same 12-month period, up 32% on 2023.
“The rapidly evolving needs of golfers have placed a greater emphasis not just on the front of house experience but also the digital infrastructure required to create and deliver more value,” comments Sean Dainty, Managing Director – International, Golf Genius.
“We’ve seen through industry data and ongoing engagement with clubs that this outcome is best achieved through the integration of specialist systems. It is that philosophy that has driven our partnership with BRS and we will continue to invest in the product, so that every golf facility benefits from a fully integrated software ecosystem.”
The integration combines the strengths of both platforms. BRS Core supports the day-to-day operation of the golf club, including tee sheet management, membership administration, visitor bookings and payments. Golf Genius delivers advanced tournament and competition management capabilities and integrates with the World Handicap System (WHS). Together, the integrated solution provides clubs with a connected workflow that reduces administrative effort, improves data accuracy and creates a more seamless experience for staff and golfers.
“Our focus has always been helping clubs meet the evolving needs of their members and visitors. The growth in adoption across the UK and Ireland shows that clubs value solutions that work well together and support the way their teams operate”, explains Conor Murphy, Director, Sales Operations – International at BRS Golf.
Now approaching its sixth anniversary, golf facilities and clubs such as Killeen Castle, Collingtree Park, Cleeve Hill, Carus Green, Bentham, Penrith and Fereneze are utilising the integrated solution to strengthen their operational efficiencies and drive a positive digital experience for their golfers with best-in-class systems.
David Addison, General Manager at Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club, added: “Moving to the BRS Core and Golf Genius solution has strengthened our club’s digital infrastructure and integration with the systems we already use. We’ve removed numerous manual workarounds, and the operational impact has been significant. I’d absolutely recommend it to other clubs.”
Furthermore, Golf Genius plans additional investments to the product, including the release of AI-driven competition setup and management, an enriched club app experience, and enhancements to the Score Input Terminal to cater for more competition preferences.
