ProQuip, Scotland’s leading all-weather golf apparel specialist, has appointed Harry Thundow as sales agent for Scotland, bringing expert regional knowledge and a customer-first approach to the role.
Thundow is well regarded for his established relationships with Scottish clubs, resorts and e-commerce stores, developed through work with brands including GFORE, Alan Paine knitwear and AK Golf, high-quality personalised accessories.

He replaces Douglas MacMillan (East of Scotland) and Graeme Shaw (West of Scotland), who have stepped down to focus on new business ventures after 23 years’ service with ProQuip.
Russell Brooks, general manager of ProQuip, said: “We are delighted to welcome Harry to the team and he joins ProQuip at an exciting moment. We are investing strategically in new digital technologies, have launched an upgraded consumer website, and seeded strong AW26 and SS27collections with the trade.
ProQuip look forward to working with Harry and their Scottish customers to generate excellent sales and productive partnerships in the “Home of Golf.”
“ProQuip would like to express its deepest gratitude to Dougie and Graeme for sterling service to the brand over more than two decades and wish them both well for the future,” added Brooks.
Thundow’s appointment is the latest step in ProQuip remodelling and strengthening its sales team and demonstrates its commitment to providing enhanced services and support across UK regions.
“Representing ProQuip, an iconic Scottish brand, with a proud and established heritage, was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” said Thundow.
“ProQuip clothing has been selected by 20 Ryder Cup teams since 1983, and its specialist lightweight weatherwear has earned the trust of serious and recreational golfers for almost half a century. I know my current clients are going to value the depth of products, technical innovation and margin-generating potential that the brand offers.”
In May, ProQuip welcomed Ian Singleton and Tom Hicklin of IDS Golf to service green-grass retail accounts in northwest England, across a territory spanning northern Wales to Scotland’s southern border, including “England’s Golf Coast.”
Thundow’s relationship with ProQuip also extends to its partnership with Ashworth, the Californian golf lifestyle brand, for whom it is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor. Harry joined the Ashworth sales team in May.
